PELLETS

Our premium wood pellets are manufactured at our new state-of-the-art pellet plant at Howick in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, one of the largest in the industry. The pellets are made from fresh sawdust.

The wood fibre contains no bark. Bark tends to contain sand that is ingrained in its structure during the growing cycle. This sand is converted into silica oxide during combustion in the boiler and will reduce the working efficiency of the boiler in time. The fibre is formed into pellets using moisture and pressure, without additives.

Pellet Dimensions:

Pellet sizes range from 6mm to 8mm in diameter.
Special batch manufacturing can produce lengths that range from 12mm to 25mm
